The Wisconsin Historical Steam Engine Association's 3rd Annual Steam School in Edgerton, Wis., attracted hands-on participation by Janet Freeman and Marty Studebaker.

Marty Studebaker, Milton, Wis., instructs Janet Freeman, Lake Marion, Ill., as she operates the Wade brothers’ 25-85 Nichols & Shepard during the Wisconsin Historical Steam Engine Assn.’s 3rd Annual Steam School, held Oct. 6-8, 2006, at the Rock River Thresheree show grounds in Edgerton, Wis.

During the weekend, students attended the association’s class and were given a chance to receive hands-on experience by operating and handling various engines on the show grounds.
