Here is a man who has an idea. We know nothing about it except
that it is.
We might talk it over. Ed.
I enjoy the magazine very much, tout I would like more in it
about the old Gas Tractors. After all, it took Iron Men to operate
the old Gas Engines.
I have been thinking for some time about a method whereby the
collections of old machinery catalogs and literature could be more
widely distributed and better preserved. I think the answer is
Microfilming. I investigated a little a few years ago and I think
that your magazine could work out something with it. The cost would
be about $6.00 per thousand pictures. All of us who are interested
in this could have our collection microfilmed and exchange with
each other. Prints would probably not cost very much, and the
storage problem would be solved.
Think it over and let me know.
