Foristell, Missouri
The name of our show has been changed to the Boone Trail Olde
Tyme Picnic and Antique Auto and Machinery Show. The show dates
this year will be August 12 and 13, 1978.
Our first show, last year, was more of a success than we could
have hoped for. The Ill-Mo Tractor Club provided an impressive
engines present were of the rare variety, including a 1915 Illinois
engine, believed to be the oldest of the four remaining Illinois
engines still in existence. Antique cars were in abundance, with
130 cars judged.
There were many flea marketers, and folks with arts and crafts,
including chair caning, blacksmithing, and a snitzel banker, along
with much more.
The old time country picnic atmosphere enjoyed by many, with
good food, lots of shade and a relaxing good time for everyone.
We’re looking forward to a good show this year, and we hope
to see the many fine people we met last year, and we extend an
invitation to anyone who has something to exhibit, as well as to
those who enjoy seeing the old time machinery in operation, to join
us in New Melle, Missouri on August 12 and 13.
