The amazing model of the 1872 fire engine, Idella, is described
in a story beginning on page 12 of this issue. Maker of the model
is Jim Lockhart and its story has been told by Mai O’Connor and
A. D. Mast.
A 1915 Case Steam Traction Engine was restored in Brookings,
South Dakota, during 1983. A tie featuring the Case Steam Traction
Engine was exclusively produced by the State Agricultural Heritage
Museum
