THE NEW AERIAL STEAM SHIP; OR, THE BISHOPS’ TRIP TO
H N.
This ancient cartoon may tickle some of today’s steam
enthusiasts, as a memento of the time when some people thought
steam could do Anything. It is probably well over 150 years old,
and done in England. It supposedly shows a group of bishops going
skyward. We are making a collection of steam cartoons such as this,
and will print more of them if there is interest among readers.
