Last issue’s mystery engine clearly threw our
readers for a loop, with not one response coming in to identify the
engine.
If memory serves, it’s the first time that’s happened. We don’t
know what the engine is, either, so if anyone out there has a clue
as to the engine’s make, we’d love to hear from them. We should
explain the lack of response from readers.
This issue’s mystery engine comes, as usual, courtesy of John
Spalding, 112 Carriage Place, Hendersonville, TN 37075
(genesis645@aol.com).
As ever, the first person to correctly identify the engine, by
mail, gets a free copy of Prof. PS. Rose’s Steam Engine
Guide.
