Jack C. Norbeck, author of the well known Encyclopedia of
American Steam Traction Engines, has recently made news with a
library exhibit he designed and placed in several major
metropolitan centers.
Above is a photo of the educational exhibit as it appeared at
the New York Public Library, Donnell Library Center, New York City,
Norbeck prepared the exhibit as president of Norbeck Research.
The exhibit traveled within New York to the Fordham Library Center,
in the Bronx, and a similar exhibit could be seen in the
Philadelphia Free Public Library from May to September 1986. As far
as we know, Jack, is still seeking a sponsor to cover the expenses
of sending the exhibit on a world tour, promoting the steam hobby
globally.
