LORENA MILLER of Lewisberry, Pennsylvania, died early in the
year 1987. Mrs. Miller was employed for many years by the Getz
Brothers, for whom she played steam calliope at such events as the
Fall Festival at Landis Valley Farm Museum, Lancaster,
Pennsylvania. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Florence
Hoskinson, Lewisberry, Pennsylvania 17339.

On September 16, 1987, ALTAM. CREEK of Fairfield, Iowa, passed
from this life. She was with her husband for 68 years, and helped
him with the threshing, taking over the throttle while changing
wagons. A fan of IMA, she would read it from front to back.
Services were held September 19 in Batavia, Iowa. Mrs. Creek was 89
years old at the time of her death.
