New Haven, Mo., passed away Oct. 27, 2001 at the age of 89. He
was a schoolteacher in his earlier years, and went into the armed
forces in World War II. After the war he worked in St. Louis, Mo.,
operating stationary steam engines. He played a big part in helping
organize the Midwest Old Threshers Show at Mount
Pleasant, Iowa, working in the stationary engine room there. He
under-mounted 18 HP Avery at the Rosebud and Montgomery County
shows in Missouri.
Harold had lots of friends who will miss him. He always had a
kind word for everyone. He enjoyed his last Rosebud show in 2000.
