Do you recognize these mystery tools?
August 2012 Mystery Tool D
This tool measures 24 inches long. The wood rail is 2-1/4 inches square. The bolt holes indicate a mounting for another 2-1/4-inch rail. Castings read “418F” on one side and “419F” on the other.
August 2012 Mystery Tool E
This tool measures about 24 inches long. The castings read “Hawk” and “Patented 1882.”
