June 2013 Mystery Tool D
This old farm tool was found in the remains of an old farm shop. It has no markings. The center hole measures approximately 1-1/4-inch diameter, about 1-3/4 inches tall. The distance between beveled mounting holes measures 2-1/2 inches. The tool is closed if the mounting holes are mounted facing up.

This old farm tool works opposite pliers. The jaws are grooved inside. The handles measure 14-1/2 inches when straight. It is marked “PAT” on the handles.
