Patent 1,161,845: Meat tenderer patented by Ralph F. Chatillon, Greenburg, N.Y., Nov. 30, 1915. As designed, the device could not only tenderize and shred meat, but was easily disassembled for cleaning. The tenderer (today, a tenderizer) featured spring-loaded serrated knife blades in a simple construction.
Patent 1,161,845: Meat tenderer patented by Ralph F. Chatillon, Greenburg, N.Y., Nov. 30, 1915. As designed, the device could not only tenderize and shred meat, but was easily disassembled for cleaning. The tenderer (today, a tenderizer) featured spring-loaded serrated knife blades in a simple construction.
